TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
The following General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between the client/patient and the SANCTUM therapeutic massage practice (hereinafter referred to as 'SANCTUM'). By booking a treatment you accept our general terms and conditions.
TREATMENT/THERAPY:
As owner and therapist of the SANCTUM Massage Practice, Monique Siegenthaler is a qualified and approved massage therapist and will perform her services to the best of her knowledge and practical skills. The treatments are provided on the basis of the information provided by the client/patient, and adapted to your requirements after discussion with you, the client/patient.
The services are based on the information that is provided by the client/patient. The client/patient is responsible for the factual accuracy and completeness of the information given. General health issues, such as, but not limited to such conditions as high blood pressure, pregnancy, and other medical conditions, must be disclosed prior to the therapy session. SANCTUM Massage and Wellbeing Therapies are not meant to replace a visit to your Doctor.
LIABILITY:
You will be required to sign a reliablity release form prior to your first treatment.
PROMISE OF HEALING:
No promise of healing is given, and the therapies applied are not intended to replace a visit to your doctor. You, the client/patient are responsible for your own health. Monique Siegenthaler respects orthodox medicine as well as other methods of alternative and experiential medicine. Monique Siegenthaler’s certification does not allow any diagnoses to be made. Observations and suggestions are not to be construed as diagnoses, and it is highly recommended that you see a doctor before beginning any type of therapy.
If required, we will work together with other specialists, or refer you to these.
SUPPLEMENTARY INSURANCE/MEDICAL REFERRAL
The treatments offered in the SANCTUM by Monique Siegenthaler's practice are currently not recognized by the Swiss health insurance companies and are partially covered by the supplementary insurances. I am currently working on the necessary paperwork to be enstated for the EMR (Erfahrungs-Medizinische Register) Please enquire with your health insurance company in advance of therapy to ascertain whether your health care provider recognises my certification.
Treatments on doctor's recommendation are also possible.
APPOINTMENTS:
You can arrange a treatment appointment in person, by telephone, or in writing (e-mail). If you are unable to attend an agreed appointment for an important reason, you must inform me at least 24 hours before the agreed appointment by either TELEPHONE or WHATSAPP.
Appointments that are not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance will be invoiced to you privately and are NOT covered by health insurance.
In case of late arrival, you appointment will be shortened accordingly. This is to respect the appointments of subsequent customers. The treatment must be paid for in full.
If the therapist is late, the price will be reduced or the missed time will be added if appointments allow.
PAYMENTS:
Payments are to be made as soon as the treatment has been provided. It is preferred that payments be made either by bank (debit), credit card, or TWINT. Payments can also be accepted in cash, but please carry the exact amount with you, as no cash is available on the premises to make change.
You will receive an official receipt for your reference.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND DOCUMENTATION:
Monique Siegenthaler shall maintain utmost confidentiality about all private information regarding her clients/patients.
Complete patient documentation will be kept and amended as necessary, and, if desired, the patient/client will be able to inspect it, even after the treatment has been completed. I will only allow third parties to view the documentation with your express consent. If I am obliged by legal regulations to provide information, you will be informed in advance.
INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOUR POLICY:
Massge therapy is for relaxation and therapeutic purposed only. There is absolutely no sexual component to massage whatsoever. Any insinuation, joke, gesture, conversation, or request otherwise will result in immediate termination of your session and refusal of any and all services in the future. You will be charged the full service fee regardless of the length of your session. Depending on the behaviour exhibited I may also file a report with the local authorities if necessary. Treat me with respect and dignity and I will treat you the same in return.
